Beauty Awards: 2014 Lips

Hello!
In my main post, "Beauty Awards: 2014", I stated that my plan was to talk about the products in each category. As you probably know, this category is Lips. In this post you will find out why the products chosen are the best of the best. If you have any questions about anything, just let me know in the comment section below.

Lips

Lipstick (Tube)

Highend: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Ladyflower -$39 for the set, $22 for the sheer lipstick

Urban Decays Ladyflower has intense pigmentation. Unfortunately, it was an exclusive shade to their Full Frontal Lipstick Stash Set ( Click here to buy for $39but it is part of their new Sheer Revolution Lipstick
line. It's a rosy pink shade with a hint of purple. It applies evenly to the lips and provides extra moisture from the creaminess of the lipstick. I love the whole lipstick line but I chose this shade because I thought it was very unique.

Drugstore: Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte lip color in Touch of Spice -$7.99(click here to buy)
Maybelline's Color Sensational Creamy Mattes are the definition of creamy lipsticks for a matte formula. Touch of Spice is a affordable lipstick that has high end quality. It's creamy, pigmented and long-lasting. If you're looking for that perfect Kylie Jenner look that is affordable, this is your best bet. It's an amazing lipstick and the shade is on trend this season.

Lipstick (liquid)

Highend: Too Faced Melted liquified Long wear Lipstick in Fig- $21 (click here to purchase)

The first thing I have to mention about Too Faced Melted lipstick is the smell. They smell A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
They feel very thin on the lips but pack a serious punch of color. They don't apply streaky or patchy. I can't find a single thing wrong with them. Even the applicator is perfection. They also last for hours and hours!

Drugstore: NYX Xtreme Lip Creme-$5.99 (click here to purchase)

Nyx makes really good lip products but one of the best is there Xtreme lip creme. It's a liquid lipstick but in a lipgloss tube. It dries down to a matte finish that lasts all day. It applies evenly and the pigmentation is very opaque. It's a must have in your collection.

Lip Liner
Highend: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil- $20click here to purchase)

Both of these lip liners are smooth and creamy. They pro long the wear of my lipstick and give me a much fuller look.

Drugstore: NYX Slim Lip Pencil-$3.49 (click here to purchase)

Lipgloss

Highend: Gerard Cosmetics Color Your Smile Lipgloss- $24 (click here to purchase)
Gerard Cosmetics Color your Smile Lipglosses are highly pigmented, long wearing, non streaky and very creamy. They are one of the best lipgloss formulas out there. Not to mention their shades are adorable.

Drugstore: Rimmel Show Off Lipgloss- $5.89 (click here to purchase)
Rimmel Show Off lip lacquers are my favorite lipglosses. They're so so creamy and pigmented. The shades are so pretty and the price is affordable for everyone.

Lip Stain

Highend: It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Blush Hydrating Gloss Stain- $24 (click here to purchase)
The It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Blush Hydrating Gloss Stains are sooo moisturizing. If you want a nice tint to your lips when you wake up in the morning and hydrated lips, then buy this Lipstain. The shades are beautiful and pigmented. The packaging is really nice and the wand is super useful. The only downfall is the price. I think they would be a lot better if they were more affordable.

Drugstore: Revlon Color Stay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- $9.49 ( click here to purchase)
These balm stains come in the form of a chubby stick. The chubby stick allows precise application with easy effort. They come in tuns of cute colors. They're affordable but still reliable. They stay on the lips all day and wear off evenly. I'm sure you'll love 'em.

Chapstick/ Balm

Highend: Benefit Lip Hydrator- $18click here to purchase )
I really like these lip hydrators because they have a tint to them but are still moisturizing. They last a really long time for a lip balm. The packaging is adorable and convenient.

Drugstore: Burts Bees Lip Balm Tin- $3.29 (click here to purchase)
You need this in your life. Unfortunately, it can't be found in stores anymore but you can purchase it on Ulta's website. It's super moisturizing and affordable. It's my favorite lip balm of all time.

Beauty Awards: 2014 Eyes

Hello!
In my main post, "Beauty Awards: 2014", I stated that my plan was to talk about the products in each category. As you probably know, this category is Eyes. In this post you will find out why the products chosen are the best of the best. If you have any questions about anything, just let me know in the comment section below.

Eyes

Eye primer

Highend: Lorac Cosmetics Behind the Scenes eye primer
I almost chose Urban Decays Primer potion for this one but it's too drying for my skin. So I'd ecided to go with Lorac's Behind the Scenes eye primer becuase it does everything it's suppose to without drying my eye lids out. It keeps my makeup from creasing and helps eyeshadows be more vibrant. Plus this stuff lasts forever. I haven't even needed to buy a full tube yet. I have been using sample sizes from their palettes. They last for months!

Drugstore: E.l.f eye primer
E.l.f's eye primer is somewhat similar to Urban Decays, just not as good. However, it's great for the price. It will keep my eyeshadow in place all day long. If I ever do run out of primer, this is the first one that comes to mind if I need to purchase one in a jiffy.

Eye Shadow palette

Highend: Lorac Cosmetics Pro Palette
There's no doubt in my mind that the Lorac Pro is the best palette out there. I reach for it when I want a natural look, smoky eye, and even when I'm using other palettes that are missing basic shades. The eyeshadows blend like butter, they're extremely pigmented, they stay vibrant all night long and the palette is put together so well. What's not to love? Every shade that you need is in that palette. We can't forget about the price. $42 is a steal for a beauty like that and their primer is included!

Drugstore: Bh Cosmetics eyeshadow palette (any of them really)
Bh Cosmetics has wonderful eyeshadow palettes. When I'm looking for a daring look I always go for their Eyes on 60's, 70's or 80's palettes. They are pigmented, vibrant and inexpensive.

Single eyeshadow

Highend:Stila Single Eyeshadow in Kitten (favorite because of Kitten)
Kitten from Stila is a GORGEOUS eyeshadow. It's so (sooo) creamy, highly pigmented, pleasingly blendable, and there are so many uses for it. I sometimes put it in my travel bag and skip a cheekbone highlter. Ain't nobody got time for two highlighters.

Drugstore: Makeup Geek Single Eyeshadows
Buttery. Pigmented. Blends easily. Affordable. Lots of shades. Ect, ect. Go get them. If I was doing a YouTube video, this would be one of those moments where I sit there in silence and give you all the "you need it in your life" look.

Cream eyeshadow

Highend: Mally Ever color Shadow stick
Looking for a creamy eyeshadow stick that doesn't budge all day? Go pick up one of Mallys Ever Color shadow sticks. They blend out easily, then once set, they don't move. Plus, they're very pigmented.

Drugstore: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoos
This is one of those cases where the drugstore out beats the high end brands. Maybelline's color tattoos are so amazing. Everytime I use one I'm blown away by its awesomeness. They are PIGMENTED. They don't just blend into nothing like some cream shadows. No, they stand out and they're like a tattoo. Do they blend easily? Of course! They're only $5 and you get a lot for your money. You need them in your life.

Gel eyeliner

Highend: Sigma Eye Liner Gel in Wicked
Sigma's gel liner is long wearing, creamy, smudge proof and wickedly dark. I really like this liner because it doesn't skip over my eye lid like some gels tend to do. It goes on really smoothly and stays there all day.

Drugstore: Essence Gel Eyeliner
Essence has the best gel liner. It's shockingly creamy, long wearing, lasts forever in the jar, and it's even more wickedly black than Sigma's. Best part is it's less than $3.

Liquid eyeliner

Highend: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
This liner is very pigmented and easy to apply. I really love the thin tip and how it locks into place all day.

Drugstore: NYC Liquid Liner
I love the wand on this liquid liner. It's so thin and precise. I'm able to achieve a wing with ease and it always looks great. It's super black and doesn't move for the remainder of the day.

Pencil eyeliner

Highend: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner in Black
This eyeliner is very creamy, pigmented, rich, blendable and smudgeable(before it dries)....BUT, it's not as good as Pixi's Endless Silky pen in Black Noir. Yet again, another instance when the drugstore beats highe end brands.

Drugstore: Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Black Noir
This eyeliner is like a gel eyeliner in pen form. Everytime I use it I'm just in disbelief of its creaminess. Not only is it extraordinarily creamy but it stays put all day. It so dark and smudgeable. I mean, just thinking about it makes me want to go smoke my eyes out right now. It's like black butter on a stick but desirable. If that makes sense? If not, let me make this clear for you all... You, your family, your friends and every girl on earth needs this liner. Amen!

Mascara

Highend: Too Faced Better than Sex
Ok, I'm going to do mascara a little different. I pretty much get the same affect from these two mascaras but the only thing that is different is the price. Both mascaras are pitch black, voluminous, lengthening, long wearing, clump resistant, flake free and transfer free. With this kind of mascara I don't even need false eyelashes.
Drugstore: Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black

Eyelash Curler

Drugstore: E.l.f Eyelash Curler
This curler is such a steal. It's sturdy and curls lashes like no ones business.

Brow Pencil

Highend: Anastasia Brow Wiz
Anastasia has the best colors in the brow pencil world. They look realistic and they're easy to move across the eyebrow. They'll stay in place all day and keep you in the brow game. It's easy to use and shape your eyebrows and the tip is the perfect size.

Brow product

Highend: Anastasia Brow Pomade
This is for the girls who don't have much eyebrow hair. It's the best product out there to fill in your brows without disappearing later in the day. Anastasia has many shades to choose from and the price is affordable. It's creamy, yet easy to use. It lasts forever and applies without having a tug-a-war. All you need is a good angled brush and you and your brows are ready to take on the world.

Drugstore: E.l.f Brow Kit
E.l.f's brow kit is my go to brow product. I have a lot of brow hair but I still like to define my brows and fill in a few spots. This kit totally does the job. It comes with a powder and wax. The powder is very pigmented and gives the brows a natural appearance. Sometimes I even use the powder as a crease shade. It's just that good! The wax helps keep the hairs in place and it works great to define the edges around the brow. It's a must have for girls who like to keep things natural.

Beauty Awards: 2014 Face

Hello!
In my main post, "Beauty Awards: 2014", I stated that my plan was to talk about the products in each category. The first category is Face. In this post you will find out why the products chosen are the best of the best. If you have any questions about anything, just let me know in the comment section below.

Primer

Highend: Stila One Step primer $36
Stila One step is a prestige primer that contains color correcting pigments. The first thing I notice when I apply this primer is how powerful the green correcting pigment is. When I'm having a really bad breakout I apply this primer and it helps calm down the redness before my foundation is applied. The next thing I notice is the extended wear of my foundation. I have a problem with my foundation breaking up all over my cheeks and chin. However, when I wear this primer my foundation doesn't budge all day long. This primer is seriously a miracle worker. The only thing I don't like is the price of it. So I don't use it all the time.

Drugstore: E.l.f Hydrating primer $6
Even though I have acne, I have very dry skin. Pretty much everyday I'll reach for something that provides  extra moisture for my skin and that special product is e.l.f's hydrating primer. It really helps my foundation go on smoothly and prolongs the wear of it. It's not quite as good as Stila's primer but it's the best from the drugstore.

Foundation

Highend: Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme $44
For so long I was on the hunt for the perfect foundation. When I saw this foundation on Ultas website, I was instantly intrigued. I'm so happy that I purchased it. This foundation provides a seamless full coverage finish. It lasts all day and does not break me out. Fortunately, i don't get oily in my T-zone it can, unfortunately it can cling to some dry patches. To fix that problem, just add some liquid luminizer to the foundation and viola, it's perfect for dry skin as well. I just can't get enough of this foundation. Plus, the packaging is so sleek!

Drugstore: Loreal True Match Lumi $12.99
I have very needy skin. My skin doesn't agree with a lot of drugstore foundations. Either they look to heavy, cake-y, too sheer, break me out, or seperate on my skin. Loreal's Lumi True Match is one of the only drugstore foundations that actually agrees with my skin. It doesn't seperate or look cake-y on my face. It lasts all day and doesn't cling to my dry acne. Most importantly, it doesn't break me out like a lot of drugstore foundations do. The coverage is medium to full but buildable. I highly recommend it.

BB cream

Highend: Skin 79 Oriental Gold BB cream $100
We all know that I have acne and I have never felt comfortable going in public with just BB cream on. However, this BB cream has changed my life, literally. Use to, I would have to go through the whole process of foundation and concealer. Now, I can apply two layers of BB cream and actually feel comfortable going out in public. Skin 79 Oriental Gold BB cream is a discontinued product but it's still available on Amazon. It has buildable medium coverge, its long wearing, moisturizing, applies smoothly, lasts for hours and gives the skin a beautiful appearance. I will always love this BB cream and I'm even hesitant to tell anyone about it. I would hate it if it sold out for good.

Drugstore: Maybelline Dream Pure with acne treatment $8.99
At first I hated this BB cream. I tried it for a week and didn't notice any difference in my skin.. Then after I stopped using it, I started to break out really bad. Why? This BB cream actually did help my skin. It helps reduce the amount of acne I have and provides a light to medium coverage while I wear it. The only thing I don't like is how it tends to stick to my dry acne. You definitely need to moisturize before hand. Other than that, it's a great drugstore BB cream. I especially think people with oily skin will love it. It would even be perfect for men who have problems with acne and would benefit from the coverage (due to the lack of self confidence).

Under Eye concealer

Highend: MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear concealer $20
I had a hard time choosing between Mac's pro Longwear concealer and Nars radiant concealer. The reason I chose Mac's is becuase it works great as an eye primer too. If your not worried about that, both concealers are high coverage, creamy, crease-resistant, Blendable and dependable. If price helps you choose, then go with The pro Longwear. It's only $20 and has a pump, which is also great for preventing bacteria growth.

Drugstore: Maybelline Isntant Age Rewind concealer $8.99
There are a lot of gems in the drugstore but nothing is as good as Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind concealer. It's  coverage packs a huge punch and the creaminess is divine. My under eyes instantly look brightened and I love the awake appearance it creates. It's also crease-resistant, lasts all day and the price is a steal. You seriously need to try this concealer. I promise you won't regret it.

Facial concealer

Highend: Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Concealer $22
I love this concealer. It gives me medium to full coverage without looking cake-y. It doesn't clog my pores or fade away throughout the day. Bonus, it's not even that pricey.

Drugstore: Hard Candy Glamoflauge $6
Hard Candy's concealer is often raved about. Being only six dollars and having full coverage, it's bound to stand out in the drugstore. I personally don't think it provides "full coverage" but I do think it provides the best coverage from the drugstore. I can still achieve a full coverage look if I wear a full coverage foundation but then things tend to look cake-y. I suggest getting this concealer if you're okay with a Med-full coverage. However, if you want ultimate coverage, go to Ulta or Sephora and get yourself a high-end concealer. If you're on a budget, than this is your best bet from the drugstore. Worn with a natural looking foundation, it looks nice and lasts all day. It doesn't break me out or crease into my fine lines. Overall, it's a spectacular concealer for the price.

Translucent powder

Highend: Tarte Smooth Operator Clay translucent powder $32
This powder is the best powder I have found to diffuse the appearance of my imperfections. That alone is the reason why it's my favorite translucent powder so far! It gives me such a silky appearance and I can't get enough of it.

Drugstore: E.l.f Cosmetics HD powder $6
Having acne my whole life has taken a total on my face. E.l.f's HD powder helps create a soft look on my skin. It blurs out all of my rough edges, prolongs the wear of my makeup and keeps my makeup from separating. But I have to say the price is the best thing about this HD powder!

Powder foundation

Highend: Lorac Cosmetics Porefection Baked Perfecting powder $33
This lightweight powder helps keep my makeup set all day long and gives me a Poreless finish. It applies easily and doesn't break me out. It also helps provide extra coverage for my acne. Which is a must have in my life.

Drugstore: Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder $4.99
I'm sure by now you have all heard of this powder foundation. It's sets makeup amazingly, keeps oil at bay and it doesn't look cake-y.

Bronzer

Highend: Hula Benefit $28
Need a bronzer that doesn't break you out, look muddy, blends easily and can be used to contour? Hands down, This is your girl!

Drugstore: BH Cosmetics Bombshell bronze in Diva $5.95
First, I want to say this bronzer is NOT for contouring. It's way too warm. However, it gives a glorious bronzey glow to the skin. I love how soft it is but that can also be a bad thing if you're not careful. It can look muddy with a heavy hand. But if you apply it correctly, it's so gorgeous and blends in like a dream

Blush

Highend: Nars Orgasm $30
Everyone has heard of it, almost everyone has it and no one can live without it. Nars Orgasm is such a pretty shade to sweep across your cheeks. It blends easily, lasts all day and gives a subtle glow to the skin.

Drugstore: Milani Comsetics Luminoso $8.49
All of Milani's blushes are fantastic but Luminoso is just one of my favorite shades. It blends easily, lasts all day long and it's affordable. What more could a girl ask for? Oh Ya, a nice sheen on the cheeks.Which Milani has you covered!

Highlighter

Highend: Becca Opal $19-41
Another product that lives up to the hype. I don't have the powder form but I do have the liquid form. It's such a beautiful highlighter on the cheeks or all over the face. It's so pretty, I could shower in it. But damn that would be an expensive shower.  It applies smoothly, blends easily, doesn't break me out and the color is universal.

Drugstore: E.l.f Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls $3
This affordable highlighter gives a nice luminosity to the skin. It doesn't irritate my skin and the color is to die for!

Setting spray

Highend: Mac Fix+ $22
Guys, the hype is true. There are days when I put on way too much concealer and what comes to the rescue? That's right, Mac Fix+. It takes away the powdery look and leaves a beautiful canvas after a light spritz. The only thing it doesn't do is prolong the wear of my makeup. But that's ok, I have primer for that. Go pick it up!

Drugstore: NYX Dewy setting Spray $7.99
Nyx setting spray is pretty much the same thing as Mac Fix+. However, it doesn't take away the cake-y appearance quite as good but it does prolong the wear of my makeup. I use it daily and save the expensive one for parties, holidays, ect.

May 2014 All Star Winner

Hello!
This month I am going to try something different. Usually, I let everyone guess the monthly All Star Winner but I don't particularly like that idea. So instead I'm just going to let you find out my favorite each month right after clicking on the post. If you like it this way please let me know. I know sometimes I just like to get to the point when I'm reading other blogs but sometimes mystery is fun too.

Also, I'm sorry this post is late. I haven't been home that much and I finally decided to go ahead and post it anyways. So I'm sorry if the pictures are a little dark. I don't have my usual set up for photography.

I hope you enjoy this months All Star Winner and decide to pick it up for yourself!

May All Star Winner

Make a statement without saying a word!  True Instant Color. One stroke, full coverage application. This next generation lipstick gives the ultimate in color, texture and finish.  The lightweight creamy formula contains Vitamins A, C, & E to moisturize and nourish lips.

Everytime I decide to wear a nude lipstick I pull this baby out. There's no doubt in my mind that this is my favorite nude shade out of my whole collection. Everything about Milani's Color Statement lipsticks are on point. The packaging, texture, benefits, price, color range, lasting power, finish and pigmentation are simply perfect.

About the lipstick collection
You can purchase it on Milani's website for only $5.49. There are are 36 shades ranging from: orange & reds, pinks & corals, plums & berries and naturals & browns. The whole lipstick collection has several different finishes like: vinyl, metallic, cream, shimmer, pearl and matte.

This months favorite is in the color Nude Creme. This shade is a pinky nude and it looks amazing with my skintone. It's not too brown or zombie looking, just the perfect pinky nude. Every girl should have this color in her collection.

Texture/ finish/ pigmentation
The texture is very creamy, rich and moisturizing. I can wear this lipstick with my chapped lips and they still look stunning. It is definitely lightweight and comfortable to wear during anytime of the year. The finish of this shade is creamy and flawless. It doesn't leave behind a streaky look, feather outside of the lip line or fade too fast. And of course the pigmentation is beyond spectacular. Just one swipe across your lips and you're out the door.

Lasting power
The lasting power is really good for a drugstore lipstick. I can get about 4 hours of wear out of this shade on a regular day. Like I said before in the paragraph above, this lipstick doesn't bleed outside of the lip line and it looks the same for a good while. Plus, it fades evenly and I don't have to worry about a blotchy mess.

Packaging
I love how high quality these lipsticks look and feel. The gold packinging is sturdy and securely snaps shut. I'm sure any girl would love to have this flashy lipstick tube sitting on her vanity. On another positive note, the color on the bottom of the tube is true to the actual shade of the lipstick. This makes it so much easier to pick out any lip shade you're looking for.

Does the lipstick have a scent?
Yes, all of the Color Statment lipsticks I have, including Nude Creme,  have a strong watermelon smell. Don't get me wrong, I think it smells heavenly but people who are sensitive to scents may not like them. However, if you love scented lipsticks, especially watermelon, then you will love Nude creme.

Overall
I believe anyone who is looking for the perfect nude will be happy with Nude Creme. There's a reason why it won my Monthly All Star Winner spot. The formula is just amazing and that's what everyone wants. I can't even think of any cons about this lipstick and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. It's creamy, moisturizing, highly pigmented, lasts a long time, ect. Plus, $5.49 is so affordable for such a luxery item. Just writing this post makes me want to go out and purchase more of the shades(I already have a few).

April 2014 All Star Winner

About this post

At the end of each month I will post my beauty All Star Winner. I post this instead of monthly favorites because I don't want to be repetitive. An All Star Winner is my favorite beauty product of the whole month. It can range from hair, skincare and cosmetics. Keep on reading and try to guess what it is. This month most people will probably already know. If you do guess before the end, comment and let me know. I would love to hear from my readers.

Product description

This month the winner is a mascara from the drugstore. This unique formula of panthenol and ceramide-R builds and thickens voluptuous lashes while conditioning them, so they remain supple and healthy. An exceptionally plush brush is designed to glide on just the right amount of mascara without clumping or flaking.

This mascara is uniquely formulated to resist clumping, soften and build lashes up to 5X their natural thickness with 2X the intensity of your regular black shade. The unique maximizing formula quickly thickens and builds lashes in a single application for a full and dramatic look.

Facts

  • No flakes
  • Smudge-proof
  • Clump resistant
  • Fragrance-free
  • Ophthalmologist-tested
  • Allergy-tested
  • Suitable for sensitive eyes
  • Safe for contact lens wearers
  • Long-lasting
  • Smooth look

The mascara is cased in a black tube with a gold handle. This mascara gives you very voluminous lashes. It can clump if you're not careful(claims not to). The formula is is definitely wet but dries quickly. The color is as black as they come. Your lashes can get phenomenal volume from this mascara with just one coat!  It only costs $7.99 at ulta. What a deal! A lot of beauty bloggers rave about this mascara. It's one of the best from the drugstore for a volumizing effect.

Still can't guess which mascara it is? Here is a hint. The first letter of the company that makes the mascara is....

Company overview

A leading total beauty care company based in Paris, France. Their main goal is providing affordable luxury for people who demand excellence in beauty.

Here is a peak at the wand.

The Volume Maximizing Brush thickens lashes evenly and smoothly, leaving them soft with virtually no flakes, smudges or clumps. This wand is the perfect size! It's not too big or small. It's easy to get to my bottom lashes without getting mascara all over my skin.

The wand is straight and tapered off at the end. The tapered point is perfect for reaching every lash on each corner of the eyes. This is great because you can get extra defifnition by picking out individual lashes. I think this a must have for people who don't like fake eyelashes( like me) because you can get your maximum volume with the tip of the brush. Remember it's not always about the mascara! The tools are important too!

The next step will reveal the next All Star Winner.

The L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara will give you the dramatic lashes you have been lusting after. I'm never disappointed with my finished look.

I love how black the mascara is. It's easy to fake thick, full lashes. Some days I can even get away with just mascara and no eyeliner. My lashes always look smooth and flattering. It's makes me feel beautiful without all of my other eye makeup. That's when you know you found a superb mascara.

Worried about flakes? Don't be! This mascara will stay put until you wash it off. There's no smudging, flaking, irritation or clumping ( if applied correctly). See for yourself. In the picture above, I only have one coat of this mascara and my lashes are as short as they come. You can literally see your lashes lengthen as you apply this mascara.

Is there not enough thickness for you? Don't worry, you can apply as many coats as you please. I think everyone would love this mascara if they try it. Plus, the price is great ($7.99). I have yet to find any cons about this mascara. It truly deserves to be my April All Star Winner.

March All Star winner

About this post
At the end of each month I will post my makeup All Star Winner. I plan on doing this instead of monthly favorites because I don't want to be repetitive. An All Star Winner is my favorite beauty product of the whole month. It can range from hair, skincare and cosmetics. Keep on reading and try to guess what it is. This month most people will probably already know. If you do guess before the end comment and let me know. I would love to hear from my readers.

Product description
This month it is an eyeshadow palette. It's consists of 16 eyeshadows, 8 matte and 8 shimmery. It costs $42 and you can buy it at most department stores. This palette is famous for the buttery shades and fantastic blending qualities. It's so versatile and you can create dozens of looks with this palette. The packaging is a slim black palette with a magnetic closure. Here are the swatches below.
Starting at the top left: White,  Cream, Taupe, Lt. Pink, Mauve, Sable, Expresso, Black
Nude, Champagne, Gold, Lt. Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Deep Purple, Slate

Still can't guess what palette it is? Here is a hint. The first letter of the company that makes this palette.

Here is a peak inside the palette.
In the pictures you will see eyeshadows. What you don't see is the mirror. I couldn't photograph it because the name is beside the mirror. Anyways, take a look and see if you can guess. The next step will reveal the All Star Winner.

 The Lorac Pro Palette

This heavenly palette is one of the best palettes out there. You can create day and night looks with it. The looks  can be natural or dramatic. If you haven't bought a palette yet, you should pick this up. The shadows are easy to blend and you get a lot of eyeshadows with this palette. It's great for beginners. Not only do I use this palette constantly for a complete look, I atribute it in other looks when I'm using single eyeshadows. This palette literally has everything I need ( for my eyes). I have my crease, highlight and my outer v shade. Personally, I think this palette is worth way more than $42. Everything is great about the Lorac Pro. It's slim (making it travel friendly), great quality eyeshadows, large mirror, magnetic closer and the balance between shimmery and matte shades is perfect. Go buy this palette!

My favorite shade from this palette is Gold. It's so pigmented and smooth. I can wear it almost anywhere on my eye. I'm never disappointed with this color. For the swatch in the picture, I barley even had to touch the shadow or my arm. It's that good!
