For the most part, the Salicylic acid percentage might be the reason why. It only has 1% and with no other active ingredients. That's a really low percentage! It might not be low for some skin types but for "acne" it is. If you need some suggestions for treating your acne, leave a comment below and I will try to help you. I'm not a dermatologist but I have a lot of experience with treatments.
Usually, if I already have a treatment like this I will wear it under my makeup. However, it makes my skin dry and causes other breakouts. Maybe it's because of the applicator. The ball is a gross idea. You have to continuously roll the same ball over all of your pimples. Not only is that unsanitary but it hurts sometimes! Do you know that feeling when you touch a big red pimple that's about to pop? Well that's what it feels like. I would much rather put a cream on. Creams are more effective and simple to use.

Final thoughts
If you have small pimples here and there, this is a great product for you. Now if you have acne, like me, your skin will be better off with other treatments. I like that it's cheap but with skincare you get what you pay for.
I also didn't notice a difference in my pores. E.l.f claims your pores will be minimized with the zapper but unfortunately that's not true.
With products like this it works for some but does nothing for others. If you have tried it let me know what you think. Do you have the occasional flare up or acne? What are your favorite blemish treatments?
