Hello, yet again we have another exciting new product coming out. Maybelline Cosmetics has formulated a BB cream specifically for oily-combination/ acne-prone skin. The BB Cream has Salicylic Acid as an active ingredient to help fight breakouts as you go on with your day.
I'm so excited about this new addition from Maybelline. Foundations with blemish treatment usually don't help my skin but I'm curious to see if this BB Cream will. It should be light enough to let my skin breathe and most foundations don't over great benefits like beauty balms do.
If you do try this BB cream be sure to wear additional sunscreen. It has a SPF of 15 but with Salicylic Acid that's not enough. I'm sure most of you know this but sometimes people just need to be told over and over again.
Maybelline claims that results will appear within two weeks. To me that seems kind of fast but I do have high hopes. I know once this hits shelves I will definitely be waving my money at the cashiers face.
Let's just hope the color range is broad enough, so that we can all find a color. In the UK, Maybelline only has 3 shades- light, medium and dark. I guess some people will just have to mix shades to find their perfect color. However, you never know. Maybe, here in the US there will be a larger variety (fingers crossed). If you do know how many shades are available, please let me know!
As for the coverage, I don't have high hopes. I will probably just wear this BB cream when I'm not going out. Perhaps, it will make a fantastic correcter under foundation. I will be sure to let you know all of the details when I get my hands on it and test it out.
