New from Benefit Cosmetics

Coming soon, Benefits They're Real! push-up liner pen.

This gel eyeliner is perfect(supposedly) for achieving a precise line along your lash line. Soon, you will be able to purchase it on Benefit's website on 6/27/2014.  Benefit hasn't said anything about the price but I'm guessing it will be between $18-30. From what I can see in photos, it does look like a pretty precise pen. Take a look at the photo below and see for yourself how unique it is!

If it works just as well as it looks, then I can see this being a cult favorite. Let's just hope this pen lives up to its sister, Benefit They're Real mascara!

Are you going to buy it? I'm seriously debating on it. I know I shouldn't. Right now I have so many eyeliners and I have always preferred drugstore liners anyways. It's also easy to find a great drugstore liner that works just as well.
However, I do like how its a gel pen, though. It's very interesting and I'm curious to see how it performs. I haven't seen a gel liner in a pen before. I'm sure a lot of people are lusting after this pen. It's so unique and something new for is to get our hands on. If you do want me to do a review just let me know and I will pick one up once it hits Ulta(please say you want me to, haha).

What does Benefit have to say about it?

It’s the FIRST EVER lash-hugging gel liner in a pen! This matte black gel formula won’t smudge, budge or dry out, and the innovative soft AccuFlex™ Tip hugs your lashline from corner to corner. The closer the line, the bigger the eye!

91% said it was longwearing*
81% said it was waterproof*
88% said it hugged the lashline*
84% said eyes looked visibly larger*
*Results observed in a consumer panel survey on 32 women after 2 weeks

How to apply

Twist base once to “push up” gel liner to tip. Resting the AccuFlex™ tip on the base of your lashes, slowly guide along your lashline from the inner or outer corner. The angled AccuFlex™ tip works both ways.

*For first-time use, remove and discard tip protector. Activate they’re real! push-up liner by twisting base until gel is delivered to tip. Wipe any excess on tissue.

Details

1.4 g Net wt. 0.04 oz.

Beauty tip

Double the REAL! Wear they’re real! push-up liner andthey’re real! mascara together for beyond longer lashes AND bigger-looking eyes.

The more I read about it, the more I want it! I just might get it! Hurry up July.

What do I do when I have flaky acne?- Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream review

Hello, on this post I will be talking about the Total Moisture Facial cream from Benefit cosmetics. This morning I was prepping my face for foundation and I had a lot of flakes around my acne. So I grabbed this cream and my flakes disappeared. This is my holy grail product. This is the only cream I will turn to when I have dry flaky acne. Without it my foundation clings to the skin around my acne and just emphasizes that area. It locks all the moisture in your skin and it's so refreshing. Typically, I will only apply it at night, because it's a heavier cream.  However, it's great for those "bad" skin days.  You can purchase it where Benefit cosmetics are sold or online at benefitcosmetics.com. It retails for $42 and you get 1.7 fl. oz.  Total Moisture contains mango butter, a natural plant-based emollient known to provide moisture. If you don't want to spend $42, you can ask for a sample to try before purchasing. I think this is a must have in everyone's collection.

Here (below) is what the cream looks like. It's white and thick. Sometimes, I will mix it with other moisturizers if I don't need as much moisture for my skin. It does have a strong smell but after a few minutes you get use to it. To me, I think it smells like perfume, so I don't really mind. Don't worry about breakouts, this stuff actually helps my hormonal skin. If you're on the market for a new moisturizer, go out and buy this! You won't regret it and if you do you can return it. Thank up you for reading,TaylorPie.
