ELF essential loose eyeshadow

Hello, I hope you're having a beautiful day today. I have my first post to share with you and it's from my recent ELF haul.  During ELF's 50% sale, I purchased the loose eye shadows from their essential line. Normally, they would cost $2 but I snagged them up for only $1! On their website, the eye shadows only have  2.9 stars out of 5.  For the price I think they deserve 4 stars. I don't like them for all over he lid but they are great for the lower eye. For a more nutural look, I like to use peach pie or honey blended on the lower lash line.  No matter what kind of look you are going for, I think you can use any of the shades to get a beautiful eye combination.

How is the staying power? They will stay put most of the day with an eye primer.

How strong is the pigmentation? The colors are opaque , excluding lilac.

How sturdy is the packaging? The packaging could be better but it's fine for the price tag.

How much eyeshadow does it come with?  The ELF website doesn't say.

What are the ingredients? Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tridecyl Trimelliate, Ceresin, Bisdiglyceryl, Polyacyladipate-1, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Synthetic Beeswax, Methylparaben, Propylparaben. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Mica (CI 77019), Yellow No.5 Lake (CI 19140), Red No.40 Lake (CI 16035), Ultramarine Violet (CI 77077), Blue No.1 Lake (CI 42090), Tin Oxide (CI 77861), Chromium Oxide Green (CI 77288).

Starting from the left the names are- pear, lilac, pansy, blue icing, peach pie, honey and black licorice.

Up close you can see the sponges are very soft. All you do is open the eyeshadow and you already have he pigment on the sponge. It's quite simple and travel friendly. Also, if you can't tell, all the eyeshadows are shimmery.

Final thoughts
I will probably repurchase most of the colors if I run out. I find it so convenient that I don't need brushes for this eyeshadow. I can throw it in my purse for touch ups or use them for my eyeshadow when I lightly travel. I think they are well worth two dollars and I don't regret trying them. I hope ELF continues selling these unique eyeshadows and I think everyone should at least buy one to try.
