#youlookdisgusting | By My Pale Skin

Bullying on social media has became an epidemic problem for everyone but especially for bloggers. To be even more specific, bloggers with imperfections, like acne. I personally haven't recieved any hate comments yet about my acne but I have witnessed popular bloggers who have and it's down right disgusting.

One beautiful blogger, Em from My Pale Skin, made a video about the hate she receives regarding her looks. Like me, she has trouble with acne but hers isn't really that bad. Three months ago she revealed her bare skin on siocial media and the hate comments haven't stopped rolling in since then. So in return she made a record of all the hateful comments and turned it into an emotional video called #youlookdisgusting.

Throughout the video she shows how people react to her appearance. In the beginning, she doesn't have any makeup on and poeple leave comments about how disgusting she looks. She then applies makeup to completely disguise her acne and the positive comments take over. Everyone is saying how pretty she is and how amazing her makeup looks. Then all of the sudden, there are comments on how girls like that can't be trusted and it's a lie to cover your imperfections. She removes her makeup towards the end and tells us we are beautiful.

And she's right. I have acne, I sometimes feel ugly, but I know I'm beautiful. Everyone is. It doesn't matter if you suffer from acne, dark spots, crooked teeth, weight or any other embarrassing flaw. We tend to forget how beautiful we are and how beautiful others are. Don't worry about your flaws because they don't matter. When I see someone in public, girl or boy, I don't notice what they're wearing or what makes them flawed.I just see a person who's unique and important.

Society says that the people in magazines are beautiful and you have to look like them to be beautiful. But the models in magazines don't even look like that. It's false beauty and that's why everyone has a problem with how they look. What we are comparing ourselves to isn't beauty,we are. We are beautiful. We are special. And we are all important.

Don't let any negative people or society tell you you're disgusting and don't tell yourself that.

Check out her video and let me know what you think in the comments below! And don't forget #youlookbeautiful!
