You can buy this mascara for $10 at most drugstores. This specific formula is for curling and care of your lashes. Two colors are available- Black and Ultra Black. I will be reviewing the Ultra Black for this post. When I first applied this mascara I noticed how small this bristles are. It's hard to pick up any product and somehow the bristles hurt my eyes. It feels like my lashes are being poked and tugged at. The formula is also very drying. When applied, the mascara is very flaky and it doesn't apply evenly. I end up the with little flakes at the tip of my eyelashes. When I tried to swatch the mascara on my hand, I literally had to vigorously scrub the wand on my hand. I posted a picture below for you to see.

Here is a picture of the wand. The wand has a curve shape and the handle is a decent size. Like I said before, the rubber bristles are tiny and pokey. In person you can even see the actual color of the bristles(green) because the formula is so dry that it doesn't attach to the wand properly. The only thing I like about the mascara is it's easy to get my bottom lashes with the tip of the wand.  Keep reading to see a before & after pictures when I used the mascara.

The first photo is my bare eye. In the second photo my lashes have one coat of the mascara on. I didn't like the results, so I applied another coat. The second coat (3rd picture) looks a little better. My lashes have a better curl but it's really flaky. As you can see the mascara isn't very volumizing or lengthening. It doesn't claim to be either one but I just expect more from my mascaras. Another con about this mascara is the smell. The mascara smells old or something. Maybe I just bought an outdated mascara. However if I didn't, I don't understand why Physicians Formula would even release it. If you have tried it let me know your thoughts, please. I won't repurchase this product but I do like a lot of Physician Formulas products.
