Review & Swatches: Rimmel London Show Off Matte Lip Velvets

The intense rich color of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine--Rimmel London Show Off Matte Lip Velvet is neither a lipstick nor a gloss. It's bigger than both. Show off your color.

Affordable matte velvet for your lips is every girls dream. I was psyched when I  found out about the new Show Off Velvets from Rimmel. I absolutely love the Show Off Lip Lacquers by them and I just knew I would fall in love with these as well.  So of course I ordered every single matte shade on Ultas website. How could I not resist?

Product Description
There are 5 shades available ranging from extremely nude to lava red. They sell at an affordable price of $5.99 at your local drugstores. They are, in fact, matte liquid lipsticks even though Rimmel claims they are something "bigger".

Shades Available:
  • Apollo- Flesh toned nude
  • Atomic Rose- Pink rose
  • Meteoric- Berry
  • Orange-ology- Bright orange
  • Burning Lava- Lava red

Pigmentation
Each and every single one of these shades are highly pigmented. If I were a boy I would think they switched out lipstick with paint. But I guess that's not a huge surprise when it comes to liquid lipstick. So dont think Rimmel got a home run and scored because of intense pigmentation. When it comes to liquid lipstick its the wear time and consistency that I'm after. So lets see how they do in every other aspect before we say score!

Application/ Consistency
Pull, swipe, rub. That's all it takes to apply the velvety matte lipsticks. I didn't notice any of the shades clinging to my dry patchy lips. In fact, they actually made my lips appear smoother than they really are right now. The same goes for reapplying them. I didn't have any problems with them looking clingy or splotchy later when it was time to refresh my makeup. The consistency is definitely velvety and I sometimes feel like I have silk on my lips. It's quite nice actually. They're also lightweight and non sticky. Rimmel does claim that this velvety formula moisturizes lips up to 31%. I don't exactly find that true, but they don't dry out my lips either. That's actually a fact that surprised me. Sometimes matte formulas are just too dry for me but fortunately, these lipsticks don't fall into that dreaded group.

I also need to mention that time is needed when the lipsticks are drying. At first they look shiny but after while (15 minutes or so), they will dry down to a complete matte finish.

Lasting Power
Apollo and Atomic Rose dont exactly fall into the definition of long wearing. At the most they last for two hours, which isnt anything special whats so ever. On the bright side, Meteoric, Orange-ology and Burning Lave are long wearing. Five to six hours is the max wear time for each shade and they do wear off evenly (atleast on me). After the pigment is gone I'm left with a stain on the majority of my lips. If full pigmentation is desired, don't stress, they reapply beautifully.

Packaging
The mattes resemble the regular Show Off lacquers from last year. They have the black diamond end on the handle of the tube. How fancy for drugstore! The applicator is a duo foot with an idention that picks up the product. The safety seal is also included in the matte line (thank goodness). By safety seal I mean a small compartment between the product and the opening of the tube that shows wether or not the lipstick has been used. If it has then the compartment will have lipstick in it, if not it will be clear. You can see what I mean in the photos below.

Overall
I think Rimmel did a fine job. I mostly think the lighter shades are good for a quick trip to the grocery store and the darker shades are better for long nights out. If you're not the kind of person who likes to touch up, these might not be for you. They don't last as long as some matte lipsticks but they are good for the price. Another thing that persuaded me to like them is the consistency. I really enjoy the velvety feeling they have and I think that's why they don't dry out my lips. Plus, I really do like the shades that are available.
Since the price isn't expensive I would recommend alteast trying out one of them. Maybe Meteoric Matte would be a good one to try if you're curious about the line. I also discovered Meteoric Matte is a great dupe for Too Faced Melted Berry! If you're interested you can check out the comparison swatches on my Instagram page (@taylorpiebeauty).

Weekly Tip, Beauty & Blog News, and Nail Design of the Week

Hello! I just want to update everyone on my monthly All Star (favorites) post. I'm currently switching things up and I'm going to do that post differently. I wasn't really satisfied with that series and I decided that I should go ahead and change it. I've been skipping it every month for a while now but I will have a March All Star winner post up at the end of the month! But for now, enjoy my weekly posts! Thanks.

Weekly Tip

Small squinty eyes can be a bummer. But with the power of makeup we can take care of that on going problem. All you have to do is add a little extra of your favorite mascara to the lashes on the outer part of your eye. Doing so will add the illusion of wider eyes. If that's still not enough adding winged liner will certainly get the job done. When you look in the mirror your eyes will look wider and more awake than ever before.

Blog News

Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks have always been a favorite of mine but sometimes they just don't fit within my budget. Especially when the shade is dupeable and I can save money in the first place. The other day I was testing out a new Matte lipstick from Rimmel and I couldn't help but think I already had this shade. It turns out that I do but it cost me $15 less than the high end version. So I'm proud to say I found a dupe for Too Faced Melted lipstick in "Berry". The dupe is called "Meteoric Matte" from Rimmel Londons Show Off Lip Velvet line. Take a look at the picture above and see the similarities for yourself.

Beauty News

Speaking of Too Faced, they just released their new spring line that includes 8 new gorgeous melted metal lipstick shades.  They are $21 on Toofaced.com. Are you going to purchase any? I might but I'm not sure yet.

Nail Design of the Week

How cute is this nail wrap design from Jamberry?! If you're interested, the name is Edgy. It's part of their new spring line that just released last month.

Weekly tip, beauty news and manicure of the week

Usually, I'll post my weekly tip on Friday but sometimes there's this thing called life that gets in my way. I had thought about not posting a tip for last week since I was busy but the beauty news included would be outdated and I wanted to share the news with everyone. Plus, I thoroughly enjoy the weekly post. It's fun to write and I get to talk about fun stuff. So why skip it? Keep reading to find out this weeks tip and beauty news.

Big, bold, thick, long, and dark lashes are always in but sometimes mascara just doesn't cut it...until now. Well this tip can't do everything but it really does help. We use primers for everything. Our face, eyes, lips and even our lashes but I personally don't own a lash primer. However, I do have a whole stash of eye primers. Becuase of the a beauty blogger within me, I decided to mess around with using eye primers on my lashes and the outcome is groundbreaking (dramatic, I know). I noticed a difference in the length, thickness and wear time of my mascara. Not only that but it also helped seperate my lashes during applicication. If you already have eye primer break it out and test it for yourself. Let me know what you think!

Glamour with an edge. Who doesn't love Urban Decay? No one. Who loves coupons? Everyone. Starting today (March 2) and ending on March 7th, Urban Decay is having a friends and fanatics event. Using the code               "TAKEITOFF20" anyone can get 20% off their entire order on Urban Decays website. Now would be the time to buy one of the Naked palettes you have been dying to get! Don't know what to buy? Ask me in the comments below what you should get.

It is valid on Urban Decays website only. The code must be typed in at the check out using all capital letters. The code lasts for six days only. Starting on March 2nd and ending on the 7th. The link above is not an affiliate link.

It has been such a long time since I decided to wear nail polish. I have been on a Jamberry kick lately and gave up the nail polish lifestyle. But... Rimmels 60 seconds nail polish is my ride or die formula from the drugstore and the colors are ahhhmazing. Their opaque, non-streaky, and unique. Surprisingly, the thing that attracts me the most is the drying time. I have a toddler, cat and a dog, when I paint my nails they have to dry fast or they'll be ruined within a few minutes.
If you're looking for a chip resistant formula, then chances are you won't like this formula much. It starts to chip on my after a couple days but I don't mind redoing my manicure since it dries so fast. Plus, I have the opportunity to changed up my design. The colors in the photo above are "Breakfast In Bed" and "Caramel Cupcake".

Beauty haul and mini reviews- Too Faced, Lorac, Clinique, NYX, Physicians Formula +more

There's is only one thing about the beginning of the year that is good, and that's new makeup. I have always felt like the first few months after December are cold and dreary but new releases just brighten up the beginning of the year. So of course I have done my share of damage and picked up a few of the latest things in the beauty world. I like to blame it on my blog and say I purchased everything to review but honestly, I'm a beauty junkie and I would have purchased everything anyways. Please tell me you have the same problem!

Not everything is new. I found some deals and picked up some oldies. I also needed to restock on a few things, including NYX's Dewy Setting Spray. The majority of everything is new, though. How exciting! I didn't go out and just purchase this in one outing. This haul is probably about two weeks worth. I ordered online and went to stores. To buy each product click on the price listed beside the name of the product.

Lorac Cosmetics Unzipped Gold palette $42- I have used this palette a few times and I'm majorly impressed. The shadows are smooth and rich. It doesn't take much to blend them out. There's one intense gold shade in the palette that resembles a pigment and I'm just blown away by how pretty it is. I will have a review of this palette  up as soon as possible.

Lorac Cosmetics Unzipped Cheek palette $30- I have only used this palette twice but so far everything is good. I want to go ahead and review the City Color Cosmetics blush palette and get that one out of the way. After that I'll post my full review of this palette around the same time as the eyeshadow palette. I have swatched it and the blushes are smooth and pigmented. When I wore the matte shade on the top row it lasted all day and blended out with ease. I'll just go ahead and give everyone a heads up and say the review is going to be good. So if you're dying to get it go ahead and purchase it! By the way it is exclusive to Ulta only.

Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick Collection Set $35- I'm trying to remember if I reviewed  this set already. I think I might have just posted a picture on Instagram. Anyways, I found this lipstick set at Kohl's for $35. It is Kohl's exclusive and it can't be purchased at Ulta. I have been dying to try the Alter Ego lipstick line for a while now but I always put it off for some reason but once I saw this kit I had to give in. Each lipstick is usually $16 and $35 for 5 shades is a steal. They are very pigmented and apply pretty easily. I did notice some tugging but overall I'm impressed with this matte formula. The thing that I love most is he wear time. The Alter Ego lipsticks are perfect for long nights out in town.

Too Faced Cocoa Contour kit $40-  I just got this palette in the mail the other day. I did swatch it and post some pictures on Instagram. So go check that out. As for the quality, I don't have anything to say just yet. I haven't actually applied any of the shades on my face yet but I can say they swatch beautifully, except for the highlight shade. It's a little chunky but I'm hoping it looks better once applied to the face. I should have a review up by next week and yes, it does smell like chocolate!

L'Oreal Infallible setting spray $16.99-  After reading so many reviews on this spray I had to pick it up. I used it once on Valentine's Day and I'm really impressed. Just from first impressions I noticed an extra 3-4 hours of wear and it kept everything looking nice until I washed my face.

Physicians Formula city Bronzers $13 in stores- Ok, I'm guilty. I bought the two city Bronzers purely for the prettiness of the product. Physicians Formula makes such cute products but don't get me wrong they perform just as good. I have used these two bronzers multiple times and all I have is good thoughts about them! I can't wait to share a review with you all.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer $27- Ah, another new thing that I'm excited about. I haven't tried it yet and I'm actually afraid that the shade I picked is too dark for me. Oh well, I guess we'll see. When I first opened the package I was shocked by how big the bottle is. I guess it's normal for a foundation but for some reason I expected it to be smaller. But then I opened the bottle and holy heck the applicator is huge! I don't really like doe foot applicators because of the whole bacteria concept but I still wanted to give this foundation a go. If I can I might try to find a pump for it. If I can't, I'll just apply he foundation to the back of my hand first I guess. Hopefully, I will have a review up within the next couple weeks. I like to take my time reviewing foundations because of my sensitive skin.

Milani Rose Blushes $7.99- Eeek, I had high hopes for the Rose blushes by Milani. I heard great things but they feel kind of cheap to me. The swatch really chalky but I haven't wore them yet. So I can't say how they perform on the cheeks. I'm actually kind of nervous because it feels like they have A LOT of Talc in them. I hope not! I guess the cuteness will be worth my time and money.

Milani Matte lipsticks $5.99- I already did a full review on these lipstick(click here for the review). Trust me, you need them in your life!

Physicians Formula Fiber Mascara $14.99- I really need to post a review of this mascara kit. I have been trying it for maybe a week or so and I'm in love. Even my friends and family noticed how big my lashes look! Maybe I will have a review up early next week.

NYX Tame and Frame brow pomade $6.99- Forget Anastasia's brow pomade. This is affordable, yet so good. I plan to do a quick review of this product at some point in the near future.

Dermablend Intense Powder Camo  $31- I only used this powder twice but so far it seems good. It does provide a lot of coverage but I think it might not be good for oily skin. I just need a little more time to test this powder out. It will probably be one of the products I review in a couple weeks.

Milani baked bronzer $9.99- This isn't a new product but I saw some people talking about it on Instagram. I haven't used it yet and I might not even do a review on it. However, at some point I will either throw it in a post somehow or let everyone know my thoughts on Instagram. But I'm always changing my mind, so who knows I might review it. When I swatched it I noticed a lot of shimmer (bad thing for bronzers) but maybe tapping the brush before applying will lessen the amount of shimmer transferred to the face. Perhaps it will be better for the warmer months only.

Tarte Tartiest Clay Paint liner $24- Dont you just love the name Tartiest! It sounds so cute to me but maybe I'm just weird. Anyway, I haven't fully put this product to the test but I can say it's easy to apply and the pigment is very dark. I actually thought the product would be bigger but I'm sure it will go a long way. I'll try to have a review up soon.

Maybelline Master Class correcting primer $9.99- I used this primer once and I'm in love! I didn't see much of a difference in the redness of my skin but it did make my foundation apply much smoother. My makeup also stayed on longer but that might have been because of the Loreal setting spay I'm currently testing out. Just to be sure I'm going to use it a couple more times without the setting spray. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Too Faced Melted lipsticks $21- I have always loved the Too Faced Melted lipsticks. The smell is divine and the pigmentation is always on point. I'm not going to do a review on them but I might do a swatch post of all the colors I have. The new shades I picked up are Melon and Chihuahua, and they are stunning!

Rimmel Velvet Matte Lip Lacquers $5.99- I have tested out about half of the shades from this line. I purchased them all and I'll post a review with swatches soon. To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about them. They seem nice but I'm not fully convinced that they're anything special. But let's just wait and see how everything works out.

City Color Intense Blush palette $7.99- Intense is the correct word for this blush palette. It should also come with a warning label that states "Warning, use a light hand or you'll look like a clown", but it doesn't so I'm telling you now. It's great and the price is right. Online it says the price is $7.99 but I found it at Five Below for $3. So I suggest looking there before you spend the extra $5 online (even though it's worthy of $8). I feel like I'm repeating myself... I'll have a review up sometime in the next couple weeks.

City Color Glowing Complexion Creme $6.99- Ugh... Do you know that intense powder smell that some makeup smells like? Well this smells like that but stronger. I'm so nervous to try this on my face but I'm also really curious about it. When I work up the courage to face the scent I'll write a revie on it. Wish me luck.

Cory Airspun Translucent powder $5.97- I got this powder becuase of Tati (Glamlifeguru vlogger). She swears by so I thought I would give it a try becuase it's so affordable. It's still sitting on my vanity. I sniffed it and was distraught by the scent of it. Hopefully when I have the time to test it the scent won't linger. I'll be sure to let ya'll know how it is in a post at some point.

Jergens Soothing Aloe lotion $4.97- If your skin gets really dry during the winter, pick this up. My hands get so dry that sometimes they look scaly and cracked. Jergens Soothing Aloe lotion is the only thing I have ever tried
that truly helps them. I just can't live without it now.

NYX Dewy Setting Spray $7.99- Repurchase! Nothing new but definitely something special. I love my Mac Fix+ but the NYX Dewy setting spray is much easier to get my hands on. Plus, they do pretty much the same thing. I'll use it to get rid of the cakey look from my foundation and boy does it works wonders. If you haven't tried it, you need to. The bottle is a decent size for the price.

Eco Tools Eye Perfecting Brush $6.98- Ok, I don't want to spoil the review so I'm not going to say much. This review is on my schedule for this Saturday and I like it. Now my lips are sealed.

Real Techniques Complexion Sponge $5.99- Just another repurchase. I must have bad luck because I already did something to it. I accidentally microwaved it too long and now it's deformed. Oh well, it still works just fine. It just has a nice curve to it. I really like this sponge for a natural look. It makes my makeup look less cakey and it's perfect for applying foundation on dry flakey skin. It's a must have and the price beats the Beauty Blender.

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte lipstick $5.49- I must have been living under a rock, I haven't even tried the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks. I have heard great things about them and when I saw they were on sale I had to pick up atleast one. I would have got more but all of the others were open. So I settled with one and I'm glad that I did. I'm really loving it.

Rimmel Nail Lacquer $1.50 in stores- Obviously, the 60 Second nail polishes are not new from Rimmel but I scored some for 50 cents each at Kmart. So if you love the formula like I do go pick them up before the sell is over!

I wish I could type up a review for every product on this list in short notice. Unfortunately, I have things to do and I have to put the products that are in high demand on my schedule first. If there is a product that you're extra curious about just let me know in the comments below and I'll try to move it up the review schedule. Thank you for understanding! If you're interest in swatches be sure to check out my Instagram. I typically post photos of my newest products in there.

Have you made a haul lately? If so what did you get?

Urban Decay Naked 3 tutorial

Hello!
Today I have a tutorial to share with you. The palette is picked for this look is the Urban Decay Naked 3. The look I created is definitely wearable and work appropriate. I typically do create looks that are within a lot of peoples comfort zone but feel free to request any unique looks you have in mind.
All of the products I used are in the picture below. The majority of it is drugstore with a couple exceptions.

Makeup
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barley Branded
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in zero
Rimmel Scandaleyes liner in nude
E.l.f liquid eyeliner
L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara
E.l.f Natural Lash eyelashes
Tweezers

Brushes
Eco Tools eyeshadow brush
Sonia Kashuk eyeshadow brush
Sonia Kashuk fluffy blending brush
Sonia Kashuk detail brush
E.l.f smudge brush
E.l.f eyeliner brush

Sorry about the redness in my eyes. I get really bad allergies during this time of the year.

Here is a photo of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. If you don't have this palette, just try to use similar colors and I'm sure it will turn out just as pretty.

1. To start off the look I applied Maybelline's Barley Branded Color Tatoo to brighten up my eyes and to keep my eyeshadow in place all day.

2. Then, I used Limit from the Naked 3 in my crease with a fluffy eye brush. I didn't apply much but I applied enough to make the color visible. I started at the outer corner and blended my way into the inner corner.

3. Next, with an eyeshadow brush I applied Dust all over the lid in patting motions.

4. To deepen the outer corner I used Darkside. Using a precise definition brush start at the corner and work your way up the crease. Don't use too much or your crease will be too dark(unless you want it that way). I also blended it out toward the center of my eyelid but not very much. I mostly tried to keep it in the crease.

5. After I was done with Darkside I used Limit on a fluffy blending brush  to blend out any harsh lines above my crease.

6.The last shadow I used is Strange. I applied it with an eyeshadow brush to brighten up underneath my eyebrow.

7.For the lower lashline, I used Darkside on the outer corner and Dust on the inner corner & the tear duct. I used an eyeliner brush for the lashline but I wiped it off in between  different colors. If you prefer your eyes to be brighter apply more of the color Dust. I didn't go crazy with that color because right now I'm constantly rubbing my eyes in that area.

8. For my eyeliner I used e.l.f cosmetics liquid liner for a wing on the top, Urban Decays liner on the lower lashline to darken the outer corner, and Rimmels Nude liner to brighten my inner corner on the lower lashline.

9. Lastly, I applied L'Oreal's Voluminous Carbon Black mascara and applied e.l.f cosmetics natural lashes.

I hope you enjoyed this look. Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any questions.
Thank you for reading, TaylorPie.

Starter makeup kit for young teens- drugstore edition

There comes a point in time when every teenage girl expresses her interest in makeup. I have a younger sister who recently asked me what kind of makeup I think she should buy and I came up with this list. It's a great beginners list and all of the cosmetics I picked are high quality products. Yes, they're all from the drugstore and you can score everything for $75(not including tax)! That's a really good price tag for a full face of makeup.

1.  e.l.f mineral infused face primer-$6   Primer is essential for prepping your skin for foundation and keeping your makeup in place all day. E.l.f cosmetics primer will transform your teens face into a smooth canvas and will fight against excess oil, flaky dryness, enlarged pores and fine lines. Make sure you don't just pass this primer up. It's very important to make sure your teen has an even and long lasting application of foundation. If your new to primer, pick one up for yourself! I use this primer all the time and it works wonders. Plus, the price is within everyone's budget.

2.  Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup-$9.97  For foundation you want to be sure to pick one that has healthy skin benefits. Neutrogena is a great start. Their healthy skin liquid makeup has natural looking coverage that's actually healthy for your skin. This foundation works on improving skins luminosity, tone and texture. It won't breakout most skin types and it has a SPF of 20 to protect against harmful rays. Any teenager should be able to apply this foundation without looking cake-y or unnatural.

3.  Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer-$6 Not every teenager needs a concealer but Hard Candys Glamoflauge concealer is a great pick if they do. It will cover imperfections like no other concealer in the drugstore and eliminate the appearance of undereye circles.

4. Rimmel London Stay Matte pressed powder-$3.97   This matte powder is great for preventing any shine the builds on the face. Which, is ideal for teenagers since they typically have oily skin. It's very easy to apply and looks natural over foundation or even when worn alone. It's actually a great powder for all ages!

5. e.l.f studio contouring blush and bronzing powder duo-$3. This little duo is such a great blush and bronzing powder for starters. The pigmentation is just right and blending can be easily accomplished. Your teens skin will have the appearance of a natural flush of color with the blush and beautiful definition from the bronzer. Nothing will make your teen happier.

6.  Milani eyeshadow primer-$5.97  The Milani Eyeshadow Primer is just the thing to preserve your teens look. Even after eight hours of wear, her eyeshadow will still look fresh with minimal creasing. This eye makeup primer is suitable for all skin tones and provides a nice, clean canvas for eyeshadow application. It's important to be sure you teen is worry free all day. It's embarrassing when anyone's, let alone a teens, makeup creases and looks like a mess. So be safe and pick up one of these great eyeshadow primers from Milani.

7. Sonia Kashuk eye palette-$14.29  This six pan palette is great for any beginner. It contains your basic nude shades that your teenager will need for any kind of look she wants. The pigmentation is great, they wear beautifully and the colors are suitable for all skintones. Go ahead and pick one up for yourself too. I'm sure the both mom and daughter will love it!

8.  L'Oreal Paris Infallible eyeliner-$7.99  This carbon black eyeliner is perfect for beginners. It has a sharpener and smudged built on to the eyeliner itself. The eyeliner glides on easily, evenly and sets quickly for fade-proof color. Use the built-in smudger for a simple smudged out look or sharpen it to create versatile eye looks. This formula is very creamy and stays put all day without smudging. This eyeliner is easy enough for teens to work with and I think your yours will love it. If you don't want your daughter to wear black eyeliner, brown is also available.

9.  Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara-$6.99. I see a lot of younger girls with clumpy mascara but with this mascara thats easy to avoid. The Clump Crusher has zero clumps but still delivers amazing volume. With the help of the brush, this formula will seperate each lash and evenly distribute mascara. So don't worry about your teen running around with loads of mascara on. You will both feel confident with the Clump Crusher.

 10. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick-$5  This is totally up to you. Some moms are okay with lipstick, some are not. Personally, I think it's fine, especially when it's just nude shades. If you do decide it's ok for your teen I recommend Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick. You'll have so many shades to choose from and I'm sure you and your teen can agree on a color. The formula is long-lasting, creamy, moisturizing, lightweight and crease resistant. If you're feeling really generous pick up more than one shade, even if it's for yourself. I just got one for my little sister(13) and she adores it.

11. Rimmel London Show Off lip lacquer-$5.47  I'm sure your little girl already has lipgloss but if she doesn't here is my first pick, the Show Off lip lacquers from Rimmel. Here is Rimmels description "Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer gives you the intense, rich color of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin-smooth, lacquer shine. It's neither a lipstick nor a gloss. It's bigger than both and it's the end of color as you know it. Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer combines the intense color of a lipstick with a smooth lacquer shine. The ground-breaking formula contains pure color pigments for rich, saturated color, phenomenal shine and supreme comfort that last all day. This luscious liquid lacquer gives a creamy and conditioning texture. Its bold color glides on with a sweep of the innovative foam applicator that features a built-in micro-reservoir to hold the perfect amount of lacquer."  I thought it would be easier to let you read about them yourself. Everything they say is true. I absolutely love the Show Off lip lacquers. I also bought my sister one of these and she uses this gloss like a pro. The gloss is opaque enough that your teen might not even need a lipstick but it's always nice to have options.

I hope this list helped you. It's such a fun stage when a girl first discovers makeup. It's a great way to express yourself and build confidence. Take advantage of this step in your daughters life and give her tips on all things beauty. It's a great way to bond and she'll learn the correct way to represent herself.

Thanks for reading, TaylorPie.
